Three words my friends would probably use to describe me are energetic, positive, and happy. I love my family and friends, art (my favorite types are painting and photography), food (especially dessert), books, animals, being outside, running, biking, practicing yoga, and going on adventures! I also enjoy baking and food blogs, which is why I created one.
This blog details delicious vegan food and my sometimes wild life.
My Vegan Story:
I’ve been vegan for five plus years. My journey towards veganism started on the third day of high school, when I started a 28-day “detox” with my family. The detox entailed living a vegan lifestyle for 28 days. I enjoyed this new lifestyle and loved learning about veganism and making vegan food. After the detox, I went back to eating meat and dairy. However, I found meat revolting and dairy didn’t taste as delicious as I remembered. So, I stopped eating meat, dairy, and eggs. I’ve been vegan since December 2012 and haven’t looked back!
